Vice President, Payroll and Billing

Karen Bapst joined TRC Staffing Services in 1983 and was responsible for Payroll Processing, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.

As the company grew and the Credit and Accounting Departments were established at TRC, Karen was promoted from Payroll and Billing Specialist to Payroll and Billing Department Manager. In 1996, she was promoted to Vice President of Payroll and Billing. With over 30 years of payroll experience, Karen manages a team of five employees and is responsible for the timely and accurate payroll and billing to all contractors, clients and company employees. Weekly payroll is in excess of $1.5 million with billing of over $2 million. Her systematic approach provides TRC’s clients with an exceptional “on time” weekly payment and billing percentage of over 99%. Due to Karen’s expertise, TRC can offer payroll and billing packages tailored to our more complex client requirements. Karen has led her team through several software conversions in order to improve TRC’s more efficient use of technologies. She has been instrumental in developing our current processes to offer paperless end-to-end payroll and billing options. A native of Ohio, Karen moved to Atlanta in 1983 after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
